We all know how beneficial exercise is, yet most of us can not manage to include it in our lifestyle due to a busy life and a work field that involves being seated for long hours.
But that doesn’t mean that we should lose hope and give up on our fat-loss journey or use that as an excuse to not be active. Instead, it is better to try to incorporate small steps into your daily life that are small only seemingly, but make a wonderful impact if sustained for a longer period of time. 1. Pick the stairs.
As simple as this sounds, most of us usually don’t pick the stairs. It is common for people nowadays to commute for long hours to work, this includes going to the busstop, the metro-station, the railway-station
, etc. Often times we prefer to take the elavators and escalators for convinience but if weight-loss is your goal , it is best for you to take a couple extra steps whenever you get the chance to.
2. Set Timers
If your job requires you to stay seated for a long amount of time, set a timer on your phone or watch to remind yourself to stand and stretch and maybe walk around for 2 minutes atleast every 30 minutes of being seated.
3. Morning or Evening walks
Try to take time out for walking early morning way before work or after work as per your convinience to incorporate a time of daily exercise. You can also stretch and go to the gym in this time if walking or running isn’t your cup of tea. You can also opt for home-workouts from YouTube.
